Famine
experienced and expressed by Casey Channing, of New Zealand, age
12!
Last weekend I did the 40 hour famine
to support kid's my age from all over the world that have no food
or money .
I raised money by not eating for 20 hour's. Well actually I could
eat. We were allowed to drink water and Just Juice and eat Barley
Sugars. But that made me think and I found it hard to do just that
when they don't even get that.
My 5 year old brother Brody took part too. He slept in a cardboard
box for the night.
My family sponsors a child through World Vision from Tanzania. His
name is Victor and he is only three year's old soon four and he
has to live like this every day of his life. Always hungry.
Luckily the money we give helps him and his family. It will never
be enough to buy him a proper house but it will make a difference.
The good news is that I raised $47.00 and you can help to by
sponsoring someone and help save their lives or by doing the 40
hour famine next year.
PLEASE Consider this, you alone can make a big difference.
Thank you,
Casey
